We carry DOT Tubing developed for brake system connections that maintain a basically fixed relationship between couplings during vehicle operation. Our tubing is made from nylon and is available in more than ten colors for quick identification of lines. Our Air Brake tubing is produced in a Type A (Single-wall extruded Nylon) and a Type B (Nylon core, Fiber reinforcement, Nylon jacket) tubing. Both Type A and Type B meet specifications SA J844 and DOT FMVSS 49CFR 571.106. In addition, these products are 100 percent pressure tested and operate up to 200°F.

Metal Properties of Brass

Quite often our customers will ask our team here at Bryan Hose & Gasket about the different types of metal, and what to look for when selecting grades, shapes and sizes. A metal is one of the basic elements in nature. Over three-quarters of the more known elements are metal. Metal is an ideal conductor of electricity and heat. Physically, metal is generally hard, heavy and tenacious. Brass, specifically, is a binary alloy consisting of Copper and Zinc that has been produced for millennia and is valued for its workability, hardness, corrosion resistance and attractive appearance.
